Program Sales Manager / Sales and Business Development Manager (Freelance)
Remote · EuropeFreelanceTarget & commission based6-month initial engagement
Company Description
EQUAIS partners with organizations to unlock the full potential of their existing talent by strengthening leadership, team alignment, and execution. We focus on the everyday decisions that drive performance, helping teams operate more consistently and turn information into effective action. Working across five core pillars, from leadership behavior and culture to systems, accountability, and the business impact of people decisions, we enable clearer decisions, stronger ownership, and better outcomes. Our objective is to help organizations achieve better performance through stronger alignment, without relying solely on new hires.
Role Description
The role will drive revenue for EQUAIS by selling our leadership and organizational development programs and related offerings directly to corporate clients.
This is a freelance, target- and commission-based role, remote and open to candidates based anywhere in Europe. The initial engagement runs for six months, with the option to extend into a longer-term partnership based on performance.
Day to Day
What you will actually be doing
Pipeline & outreach
Identify and qualify organizations that fit our target client profile — primarily HR Directors, People and Culture leads, L&D Managers, and CEOs.
Discovery & pitch
Present EQUAIS’s program offerings in a way that speaks to each client’s specific priorities — team productivity, retention, or leadership capability.
Close & coordinate
Manage the pipeline from first outreach through proposal and close — negotiating terms and pricing, then coordinating scheduling, trainer availability, and client onboarding.
Market feedback
Bring back what you’re hearing — how programs land, what objections come up, and where new program ideas may be needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally selling training, consulting, coaching, or other people-development programs.
Ability to understand and clearly communicate the value of leadership and culture-focused programs to senior decision makers, translating program content into business outcomes like productivity, retention, and performance.
Strong consultative selling skills, comfortable running full-cycle sales conversations from first outreach to closed proposal.
Solid negotiation, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills in English; German or other European languages are a plus, particularly for engaging prospects across different markets.
Self directed and organized, comfortable managing your own pipeline and schedule as a freelancer working toward measurable targets.
Experience using CRM tools to track and report on a sales pipeline.
Background or education in business, management, psychology, HR, or a related discipline is an advantage.
Available for occasional travel to client locations or team meetings as needed.
